Privacy notice
Last updated 13 October 2026 · Goodspring LLC · hello@good-spring.com
Mayday League is made by Goodspring LLC ("we"). The game doesn't ask who you are: there are no accounts and no cookies (apart from one that remembers the password, while the game on our own site asks for one), and we never sell anything about you. On our own site we count plays anonymously, and keep the email address of anyone who joins our waiting list. Everything else the game remembers stays on your device.
What stays on your device
The game saves your settings, your rider profile (a jockey's name, a horse's name and a number, if you make one), and your races, rank, badges and cup results in your browser's storage. None of it is sent to us or to anyone. Clearing your browser's data for the site erases it.
What we count
On good-spring.com and cyberhorse.vercel.app we use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and plays: the pages viewed, the kind of device and browser, the country (worked out from your IP address, which is not kept), and a few moments in the game (a race started or finished and roughly where you placed, a lesson passed, minutes played, how many days since this device last played). It uses no cookies and no advertising identifiers, and recognises a returning visit only within a day, through a value that resets daily. We use these numbers to see whether people play and what to make better. To turn it off on your device, open the game once with ?nocount at the end of its address (?count turns it back on).
Why (for visitors in the EU and UK)
Counting anonymous plays is our legitimate interest in running and improving a free game, and it holds nothing that identifies you.
Who hosts it
Vercel Inc. hosts the game and does the counting, under its own privacy policy (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy). The game loads nothing from any other service: its fonts and 3D engine are part of the page.
On game portals
Where Mayday League is played on a portal (such as CrazyGames), the portal runs the page, its ads and its own analytics under its own privacy policy. The game itself sends nothing from a portal.
The password
While the game on our own site asks for a password, typing it sets one cookie on your device that remembers it for 30 days. The cookie holds a scrambled copy of the password and nothing about you; it is never used to count or follow you.
The announcer
The commentary uses your browser's built-in speech. Some browsers speak through an online voice service of their own; the game gives it only its own fixed lines, never anything about you.
The waiting list
If you join the waiting list on our own site (maydayleague.com), we keep the email address you give us, and nothing else, to tell you when Mayday League comes to Steam, iPhone and Android, and now and then with news of the game. You confirm by email before you are on it, every email has a link to leave, and if you write to hello@good-spring.com we delete your address. The list is kept by Buttondown, our email provider, under its own privacy policy (buttondown.com/legal/privacy); we don't sell it or share it with anyone else. The waiting list is for people 13 and over.
Children
Mayday League is for all ages. The game itself collects no personal information from anyone, children included (the waiting list is for 13 and over). A name typed into the rider profile never leaves the device.
Selling and sharing
We don't sell or share personal information, and we don't follow you across other sites.
Your rights
Apart from a waiting list address you gave us, we hold nothing that identifies you, so there is usually nothing for us to find, correct or delete. Write to hello@good-spring.com with any question or request and we will answer.
Changes
If this notice changes, we will update it here with a new date.
