A ridiculous idea, taken completely seriously.
I’m Lucky, the horse with a translator. People see a horse in sunglasses on a rocket sled, and they laugh. We race faster than sound, and they laugh. Then they try it at 800 miles per hour, and the laughing stops. Get it right, and it feels like euphoria. Get it wrong, and your legs go everywhere. Ask me how I know.
Formula One rules, fixed
Carry too much speed and you understeer wide; hit the wall and you lose the race, not a life. A rolling start, a timing tower, a photo finish to the thousandth, and a deadpan commentator calling it. The league runs in SIMULATION with every assist off.
99 horses, 5 rivals
The other 98 brake, drift, draft, boost, kick and hold grudges by the same rules you do. Five of them are picked to match your rank. Beat three and you keep your stake.
The speed is blistering
The speedometer matches the ground you cover. Break the sound barrier and the camera falls back, the sound drops out, and the city goes by in a smear. The horse sticks its tongue out every time it drifts.
Meet Lucky Break. The horse with a translator.
He runs Horse University: five lessons before your first race, one tip after every race. He has a translator. He will not stop using it.
Lucky’s tips. Straight from the horse.
In the booth. Robot horses, all of them.
Clive Canter calls the race. Jemima Furlong does the colour. Lucky does whatever he likes.

A Formula One simulator. With horses.
Ninety-nine horses in helmets and shades, on fusion-powered sleds, race a skyway through a neon city. SIMULATION is the full game's racing, and it is Formula One's: one grip budget for braking and turning, dirty air, track limits, a sonic boom only in the zones like DRS, sectors timed to the thousandth. No lasers.
ARCADE is the same race with the gloves off: drift and boom anywhere, kick, laser, follow the gold, bounce off the walls. One bar is your health and your boost.
The game is coming.
The full game is headed for Steam with the rest of the world in it.

Six moves. No mercy.
-
01
Kick the back end out and hold the slide like a rally car. The sparks go amber, cyan, magenta; let go on the third and the horse surges out of the corner with energy to spare.
-
02
Hold boost and it charges. Let go when it chimes and your horse breaks the sound barrier: 1,000 mph, a crack you feel, and the world goes quiet for a second.
-
03
Tuck in behind a rival and its wake pulls you along and tops your bar up. Hold the pocket, then slingshot past.
-
04
Hind legs for the horse on your tail, a lunge for the one in front. Horses remember: kick one and it hunts you for eight seconds.
-
05
Hold to lock on through your shades, let go to fire a spread of light that stuns or slows whoever is in the blast. When a rival locks on you, swerve hard and shake it.
-
06
Ride a green lane to refill your bar. When a horse ahead wrecks it spills golden apples behind it. Follow the gold.
Get an email when it lands.
Ninety-nine horses race on hover sleds through a city at night, by Formula One's rules in SIMULATION and with the gloves off in ARCADE. A knockout mode on roads nobody has seen, and a school that teaches every move. Its music is written as code and played by the game. It is coming to Steam, iPhone and Android.
